Thank You for participating!

The meeting on Friday 24.May was a great succsess

Thank you to everyone who made an effort to come and give input building our own safe and friendly neigborhood. It certainly was fun to finally have a better look at the people who live next door or just around the corner!

The meeting was attended by residents of 17 houses in the area. The contact list, that was made during the meeting will be circulated in the next few days between those who attended the meeting. Please let us know, if You could not attend the meeting, but would like to be added to the list. We believe that knowing our neighbors is great step forward!!!

Special thank You to:

Neil Eybers (my husband) for hosting the event;)

Audrey Chetty, http://www.paardevleinw.co.za/ who told us more about the neibourhood watch and the way it operates in surrounding areas. We will distribute the application forms to those who would like to join this great initiative. This does not cost You anything than some extra effort and time!

Nell, Dido and Nicola - our mentors in business, for giving some more detail on how the business operates and what products we deal with. For anyone wishing to know more, please contact me!

Next Meeting

There is currently no plan for the next meeting, but we believe that meetings like this should be held on a regular basis, even, if it means only a few times a year.

Please let us know, if You have any suggestions!!!

Please note there will be no catering in the meeting.

Introduction

As one of the goals is to meet one another and learn more about our neighbors, we will do a quick introductions.

The information I have in mind would include:

This information will be for the people in the meeting and will not be published online.

However, if you have Your own business or have special skills, please do tell!  We do plan to add a list of skills that we have in Victoria Park and I'm sure it would be nice to know that there is an accountant living right down the road, if You are looking for one:)
